We are delighted to share an important milestone for ProMo | Montrose Development & Improvement.
ProMo is now a fully registered Scottish charity:
Scottish Charity No. SC054554
This represents a significant step forward for the organisation and for our collective efforts to revitalise Montrose town centre and High Street. Achieving charitable status strengthens our governance, credibility, and long-term sustainability, and crucially opens up new avenues for grant funding and investment that were previously unavailable.
Charitable status also allows individuals and businesses to make donations in support of our work, helping us to build momentum around community-led regeneration, heritage-led improvement, and the creation of a vibrant, resilient town centre for the future.
This milestone would not have been possible without the encouragement, advice, and support of so many people along the way. Thank you to everyone who has supported ProMo to date – whether through time, expertise, partnership, advocacy, or belief in what we are trying to achieve.
We look forward to building on this progress, working collaboratively with our community, businesses, funders, and partners as we continue to deliver meaningful change in Montrose.
